Effect of vacuum on Boiling points of liquids:
In vacuum environment boiling points of liquids will reduce and operation can done at low temperatures. This is very useful when dealing with high boiling point liquids, Heat sensitive materials and corrosive fluids at high temperatures.
In industries it will add energy saving with low temperature operation.We can use this phenomena in vacuum distillation operations, Multiple effect evaporation operation,when dealing with heat sensitive materials.
